Participation and Entry
The number of competitors in each weight categories, of all age categories, and from each
federation is unlimited. Min. grade is 3rd kyu in cadet but in juniors, seniors and veterans 2nd kyu.
The official entries should be done only through the national judo federations in Denmark, Faroe
Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

Competition rules
According to IJF and EJU rules and competition regulations of Judo Federation of Iceland. Duration
of each match will be 5 minutes for senior men and 4 minutes for senior women, juniors and cadets
and 3 minutes for veterans.
Double repechage or pool competition system.
2 entries, better of 2 fights, if 1-1 the third match will decide
3-5 entries single pool, 6-7 entries, double pool
8 and more entries, repechage competition system
Blue and white judogis is required.
Every competitor must have an international insurance for injures. No insurance is provided by the
organizers.
Referees
We need referees so each participating Judo Federation is requested to enter one to two referees.
