The Young Americas Business Trust
The Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) is a nonprofit corporation created in
1999 that works in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Organization of
American States (OAS) to promote the social economic development of young people
around the world. YABT is an organization for young people by young people.
YABT advances the goal of the OAS and the Summits of the Americas by promoting
and implementing programs for entrepreneurship in the Americas and elsewhere as a
mean to fight poverty and create job opportunities for young people.
The vision of YABT is that the talent of young entrepreneurs in the Americas will
determine the Hemisphere’s potential for future economic growth and democratic
stability. YABT believes that the region’s young creative people offer the best prospect
for building progress in the Americas.
