A GIRLS ENGAGED IN AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR
EVENT is being held April 14-16 at CBC. Stop by the
Career Center for registration info.
FYI – The Dude Be Nice Project is canceled today and
will be re-scheduled for next Friday.
WSU TRI-CITIES is holding a Junior Preview Day on
April 23 @ 5:30. Come learn about programs, financial
aid & scholarships or stop by the Career Center.
FYI – The Library will be closed next Monday-Thursday
for MAP & SBAC testing.
NO SCHOOL – APRIL 21
FOR STUDENT LED CONFERENCES!
Come listen to some great music April 18 from 6-10:00 at
the REACH OUTDOOR THEATRE. This concert will
feature Take 28 and a DJ set by Kamiakin student, Chris
Senor. All proceeds go toward FFA members whose
animals were killed in natural disasters. Tickets are $5 and
are available at lunch or after school by Room 414.
The KAMIAKIN ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB is
offering a $500 scholarship for one male & one female
athlete. Applications are online by using the “School”
dropdown menu to access the “Booster Club” link on the
Kamiakin website. Applications are due to the Career
Center by May 1.
The annual TRIOS SPORTS PHYSICAL
CLINIC is June 13 from 8-11:00 at Vista Field
Trios Care Center. Forms must be filled out and
signed by a parent or guardian before the exam.
Cost is still $5.
MAGIC CAMP is a free, four-day, after school camp
designed to introduce girls in grades 8-12 to careers in
construction. This camp is May 4-7 from 4-7:00 at TriTech. Stop by the Career Center for more info.
SENIORS: A Josten’s rep will be in the auditorium foyer
from 10-1:00 next Friday, April 17 to deliver graduation
materials.
FRESHMEN: GEAR UP is taking freshmen on a tour of
WSU in Pullman on May 21. Applications can be picked
up in the GEAR UP office and are due back on April 24.
