Mount Nebo​
is one of Arkansas’ first state parks. When skies are clear, you can see for miles across the Arkansas River Valley. ​
Native stone and logs from Mount Nebo were used to construct many of the park's bridges, trails, rustic­style cabins, and pavilions. ​
Arkansas travelers have long journeyed to Mount Nebo, to relax in the cool mountain temperatures, to retrieve water from the many natural springs, and to take in the scenic beauty. ​

Later renamed the Section of Fine Arts, its mission was to transform federal buildings into democratic art galleries. There were 21 post office murals commissioned for the State of Arkansas between 1938 and 1943. One of them was created at the Dardanelle Post Office, located at ​

(41 miles W of Russellville on I­40) is a distinctive part of Arkansas history and culture, preserving the heritage of German­Swiss immigrants and the art of winemaking. The town pays tribute to its ​
coal mining history​
with five granite memorials engraved with 500 names of area coal miners on each, with special homage given to those who were killed in mining accidents. The focal point is a bronze statue of a miner. ​

in Altus was founded in 1879, a time when the railroads were recruiting immigrants to the region. ​
Located on the way up to Wiederkehr Winery, this church has a panoramic view of the valley below. This lovely old church with it's beautiful stained glass and well maintained cemetery is open to visitors.​

is an art studio located in the City Mall in Russellville. It is fun for people of all ages and abilities. Each class or party is 2­3 hours long. The price includes the canvas, paint, ribbon, and help from an art specialist. She draws the design on the canvas, and the customer chooses the colors and fills it in, creating something personal that they can hang on their wall.
