The Gulf Barramundi Restocking Group had a lot of helpers—locals and visitors—when they were
able to release Barramundi Fingerlings into the Norman River on Saturday 18th April. Total released
on the day - 38,261. 3,265 released at the mouth and a further 34,996 released up the river—all bred
at the Carpentaria Shire Council Barramundi Discovery Centre hatchery in Karumba.
