From its beginnings in a 3,000-square-foot shop with four employees, Katech, in Clinton Township, Michigan, now operates out of 36,000 square feet (24,000 square feet, ground floor) and employs a crew of 47 people. With this growth our list of accomplishments has grown from our work in Trans -Am and NASCAR to the American LeMans Series . Today’s Katech is an industrial leader in advanced racing and high performance engine development. We exploit the latest CAD/CAM technologies to design and manufacture racing components and computerbased technologies for valve and fuel delivery analysis. We are your One Stop Shop and have not forgotten our roots. Katech is still your best source for airflow and engine development, plus support services for the professional racer including boring, honing, fabrication, welding, and any prototype parts.
