2015 Hot Mixture Asphalt Resurfacing Patrol
Kane County Section #14-00451-00-RS
Milling and asphalt resurfacing is scheduled for 7 roadways in Kane County starting the week of April 20, 2015,
weather permitting. Along with resurfacing, shoulder gravel and replacement of catch basins and inlets on
various roadways will be done. The work is anticipated to be completed in early fall of this year.
Anticipated order for resurfacing work:
• Harmony Rd – Getty Rd to Allen Rd
• Randall Rd – Red Haw Ln to 600’ south Dean St
• LaFox Rd – 650’ north of Campton Hills Rd to 450’ South of Campton Hills Rd
• Bliss Rd – Main St to bridge over I-88
• Tanner Rd – Norris Rd to Orchard Rd
• Mooseheart Rd – Randall Rd to IL Rte. 31
• Orchard Rd - Tanner Rd to 600’ south bridge over I-88
Anticipated order for placement of shoulder gravel:
• Huntley Rd – Kreutzer Rd to Boyer Rd
• Big Timber Rd – IL Rte. 20 to IL Rte. 47
• Big Timber Rd – IL Rte. 47 to Manning Rd
• Ramm Rd – IL Rte. 47 to McGough Rd
Anticipated order for catch basin / inlet replacement:
• Randall Rd / Big Timber Rd intersection
• Randall Rd / Foothill Dr. intersection
• Kirk Rd / Lathem St intersection
This work should take approximately 3-5 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Work will be done during
the hours of 7:00 am and 3:30 pm Monday thru Friday, weather permitting. As work progresses additional
press releases will be provided to the public before further work begins warning them of upcoming work.
Motorists shall expect delays during the initial phase of the work, are encouraged to seek alternate routes
during construction and be aware of temporary lane closures and flaggers around the work area.
