Adventures
(Registration Required)
Looking for a new way to support 4-H and
show your pride for the Clover? The 4-H
Foundation has a new opportunity to do both
for just $20 per year. It’s a way to reconnect
and stay in touch with what is happening in
Kentucky 4-H.
Kentucky 4-H Friends & Alumni has been formed under the umbrella of
the 4-H Foundation. Those who wish to join are ask to give $20
annually, of which they can designate $10 to the County 4-H Council of
their choice. As a donor to 4-H Friends & Alumni, individuals will
receive a Friends & Alumni window decal, the Foundation’s newsletters,
email blast on the latest happenings, and invitations to participate in
Foundation events such as Homecoming, along with opportunities to
volunteer and give back to the program which benefited so many.
Friends & Alumni is open to anyone who has been a 4-H member,
volunteer, 4-H parent, donor, staff, or anyone who just loves 4-H. For
4-Hers who recently aged out of 4-H and are in college, you can join
Friends & Alumni for free and maintain that status as long as you are in
school. It’s the place where you can stay connected to 4-H and your
friends. Join Today at: www.kentucky4hfoundation.org and click on the
Friends & Alumni logo.

HOST FAMILIES NEEDED
For 4-H International Programs
This summer, 10 young people from Japan
along with one adult chaperone will come to
Kentucky to learn about American families and
culture. A great way to take part in this
international experience is by becoming a host
family for one of these students. Applications
are now being accepted. Youth in the Language
Laboratory, or LABO, program are between the
ages of 12 and 16. These young people want to
experience the life of an average American
family.
If you are interested in becoming a host family
or receiving more information contact Mark
Mains, at [email protected]. Requesting
information does not obligate families to host
students this year. Biographies of the Japanese
youth can be obtained after an application for
hosting is submitted and approved.

“Leg Up” Scholarship
All applications are available online at
