Monday July 6th through Thursday July 9th
This years camp will feature
two sessions
Session 1 will be for boys and
girls grades K through 3. Monday through Thursday 9:30am
to 11:30am.
Cost of session 1: $70.00
Session 2 will be for boys and
girls grades 4 through 9. Monday through Thursday 1:00pm
to 4:30pm.

Meet Coach Kettel: Andrew Kettel started his
coaching career in 1998 as a volunteer assistant
coach for the Scranton Prep Cavaliers Freshman
team, moving up to the Junior and Varsity level in
2000. In 2002 Coach Kettel was hired as the head
JV coach and guided the Cavaliers for the next four
seasons accumulating over 60 wins. He also
served as athletic director at St. Paul’s School.
In July of 2007, Kettel was appointed as head boys’
basketball coach at Lackawanna Trail High School,
where he led the Lions to an overall record of 7770, guiding them to two Lackawanna League Championships games, winning the trophy in the 20102011 season. That same year, the Trail boys’ basketball program was selected as the recipient of
the Scranton Chapter of PIAA Basketball Officials’
Donald L. Klee Sportsmanship Award.
Between regular seasons, Coach Kettel has successfully coached a variety of age groups in the
AAU regional programs at Hoop City & Backcourt
Hoops, as well as participating with his teams in
numerous summer basketball camps at Villanova
University, Saint Joseph’s University, The University of Notre Dame and Michigan State University.
On June 24, 2013 Coach Kettel was named Boys
Varsity Coach at Scranton Prep. Since taking over
at Scranton Prep Coach Kettel has led the Cavaliers to 45 wins and 7 loses, 2 Lynett Tournament
Championships (’13, ’14), 2015 Lackawanna
League Champions, 2015 District II Champions
Coach Kettel serves as the chairman of Coaches
vs. Cancer of NEPA since 2008. In that short time,
his efforts have helped to raise close to a million
dollars in the fight against cancer.
