From I-95, points north:
Exit I-95 at SR 836 West, exit number 3-A. Exit SR 836 at NW 14th St. Keep going West and after you go
beyond NW 12th Avenue you will see on the right side (North) of the Street the University of Miami
Hospital Parking Garage (P) on the North side of the street (your right). Take the elevator to the 1 st
floor, the Seminar Center entrance is a few steps away.
From I-95, points south and east:
Exit I-95 at SR 836 West. Exit SR 836 at NW 12th Ave. and turn right onto NW 12th Ave. Be sure to
change into the left lane as soon as possible. Make a left at NW 14th Street (West) and you will see on
the right side (North) of the Street the University of Miami Hospital Parking Garage (P). Take the
elevator to the 1st floor, the Seminar Center entrance is a few steps away.
From SR 836, the Airport, and points west:
Take SR 836 / Dolphin Expressway eastbound, and exit at NW 17th Ave. Turn right on NW 17th Ave.,
cross bridge, and make first right on to NW North River Dr. Continue straight on NW North River Dr.
through a slight right turn at the traffic light. At next light (NW 12th Ave.), turn left. Continue north on
NW 12th Ave. At the corner of 12th Ave. and NW 14th Street turn left (West) to University of Miami
Hospital Parking Garage. University of Miami Hospital Parking is on the North side of the street (your
right). Take the elevator to the 1st floor, the Seminar Center entrance is a few steps away.
Drop Off See directions above. When you reach the Seminar Center, there is a street sign that says
“No Parking Loading Zone”. Please drop off at this convenient area.
Public Transportation
Metrorail: Civic Center Station adjacent to the medical campus.
Exit the Metrorail Station and head South on NW 12th Avenue towards NW 14th Street (you will pass
the Main Entrance of the Hospital on your right, but keep walking). At the corner of 14 th Street, turn
right (West). You will pass the Trolley Stop Sign and a “No Parking” sign on your left. Keep walking and
there will be a sign to direct you to the correct entrance of the UMH conference center.
Metrobus: routes 12, 32, 95 and M.
The City of Miami Trolley (free). Stop at Health District Trolley UM Hospital. Walk past a
“No Parking” sign on your left. Keep walking and there will be a sign to direct you to the correct
entrance of the UMH Seminar Center.
University of Miami Hospital VALET Parking - 1400 NW 12th Avenue, MAIN ENTRANCE – this is a much
longer walk to the seminar center, ask for directions at front desk.
