As we near the end of the school year, it is important to work to help keep your child focused. Fourth quarter will prove to be a busy one for our Middle School – End of Year PARCC testing for English Language Arts and Math, Terra Nova and AIR testing for Science and Social Studies, 6th and 7th Grade Washington D.C. trip, and every day learning and activities in their classes. Please continue to check with your child daily about homework, projects, and classroom learning. As you review your child’s report card, please take time to reflect with them on their fourth-quarter goals. Praise and encourage them on the areas where they are making progress and talk about what they did to make those improvements. Also, look at areas of needed improvement and come up with a plan together to focus their efforts on what they want to do better. I appreciate all the support and reinforcement at home. By working together as a team we can make this your child’s best year yet!
