Day 1: Thursday, May 7: Tulip Time in Pella the
city comes alive with a parade, garden displays of tulips and celebrations. The Pella Tulip Festival began
in 1935 in celebration of the town’s heritage. This
wonderful event features street washing parades,
costumed wooden shoe dancers and wooden shoe
carving demonstrations. Today at lunch we’ll enjoy
free-time where we can visit the street vendors making delicious treats such as poffertjes, always served
with poedersuiker (powdered sugar) and butter.
Yummy! Pella’s celebration brings people from all
over the world to view the fabulous display of tulips
and exposure to the Dutch culture. This afternoon
we’ll have reserved seats for the Grandstand Show
and Volksparade. This evening we’ll enjoy dinner at
the Trinity Reformed Church before heading to our
hotel for the night. (D)
Day 2: Friday, May 8: This morning following
breakfast at the hotel we return to the Pella Tulip
Festival where we will have time to visit several of
Pella’s historic locations like the Scholte House Museum & Gardens. Dominie Scholte promised his
wife Mareah, a beautiful home like the one she left
in Holland. He held true to his word and in April
1848 the house was ready. This historic home sits
quietly surrounded by award winning flower gardens. We will have tickets for the Golf Cart Shuttle to help us get around to the different events and
attractions such as the Historical Village and the
Vermeer Windmill. Lunch will be included at a local church before we say farewell and head on our
journey home to Kansas City. (B, L)

INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Notice of individual cancellations should be made in writing. Individual cancellations are subject to the following penalties.
MULTI DAY TOURS: Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to tour departure are subject to a $25 cancellation fee, plus any expenses incurred by Kincaid
Coach on behalf of the client. Cancellations made forty-five to eleven (45-11) days prior to departure will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee plus any expenses
incurred by Kincaid Coach on behalf of the client. NO refunds will be issued on cancellations made ten to zero (10 - 0) days prior to tour date.
ONE DAY TOURS: Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to tour departure are fully refundable. Cancellations made thirty to eleven (30-11) days prior to
departure will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee, plus any expenses incurred by Kincaid Coach on behalf of the client. NO refunds will be issued on cancellations made ten to zero (10 - 0) days prior to tour date.
TOUR CANCELLATION INSURANCE is recommended and available at an additional cost. The cost is based on the dollar amount of your tour. Benefits
only apply when you have purchased this plan within 14 days of the initial tour deposit/full payment of your tour. Brochures outlining coverage are available
upon request.
RESPONSIBILITY: Kincaid Tours (under the management of Kincaid Coach Lines) acts only as your agent in arranging various accommodations and assumes
no responsibility or liability in connection with the service of any conveyance. Kincaid is not responsible for loss or injury in connection with sightseeing,
excursions, restaurants, foods or liquids, hotel or motel accommodations or loss of any personal item or baggage. The airlines, coach companies or other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any acts, omissions, or events during the time passengers are not on board. Kincaid reserves
the right to accept, decline or to retain any person as a member of the tour. Kincaid reserves the right to make alterations in a tour, should it become necessary
without penalty to the operator and/or cancel any tour prior to departure and shall be responsible for only those refunds of payments paid by said participants.
