Kinetics Drive Solutions is currently recruiting for several engineering positions in the following areas:
Hydraulics, Controls, Mechanical, and Simulation.
Examples of related duties, dependent upon position:
 Controls System Design
o Electrical circuit/subsystem design for mobile applications
o Electrical/electro-hydraulic parts sourcing, testing & evaluation
o Prepare specifications and documents in accordance with requirements
o General electrical component sizing & design calculations
o C/C++ Code development
o Circuit Loading
o Control strategy and model development
 Hydraulic Design
o Hydraulic circuit design of open and closed systems with extensive system integration: common
fluid sources for multiple functions
o Sizing and selection of OTS hydraulic, pumps, motors, valves, etc.
o Design and development of hydraulic pumps and motors
o Manifold design
o Seal sizing and selection
o Fluid selection and specifications
o General mechanical design knowledge
o Tolerance stack-up analysis
o Simulation of components and or sub-systems within simulation environment an asset
 Mechanical Design
o Deriving gear, shaft, bearing & seal layouts/concepts
o Development of Duty Cycles & Miners Tables
o Gear design and life calculations
o Casting development and design
o Clutch and brake design/calculations
o Bearing sizing and life calculations
o General mechanical component sizing & design calculations
o Tolerance stack-up analysis




Simulation Modeling
o Develop physical models of components & systems
o Develop and support model based design process & activities
o Support and maintain base framework development
o Lead and support data analysis and visualization
o Analyze test data and generate reports
o Design procedures and fixtures for product testing
o Write software to automate test procedures
System Integration
o Integration of hydraulic and electrical control systems into an integrated mechanical design
Prototype Assembly & Testing
o Overseeing the assembly of prototypes
o Internal and field testing of prototypes
o Report writing and documentation of testing results based on developed test plans
Product Support
o Troubleshoot problems and breakdowns internally and in the field
o Researching and correcting deficiencies discovered with products and projects
Qualifications:
 Must be detail oriented, self motivated, organized and able to work in a deadline driven environment

 Proven organizational skills
 Self directed problem solving (methodical and logical)
 Ability to work in a team environment
 Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
 Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical and control systems
 Technical writing skills
 Desire to learn and develop
 A bachelor's degree in engineering or a college diploma in engineering technology is required
 Experience working in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
 3D component modeling and design (Solid Works preferred)
 Component CAD drawings and checking
