International applicant (non-Korean citizenship holder, whose parents also hold nonKorean citizenships) OR b. International applicant who studied 16 years (elementary school to university) in a foreign country, and at least one parent is a Korean citizen OR c. Overseas Korean with permanent visa (or residency) who studied 16 years (elementary school to university) in a foreign country * Dual citizenship holder (including Korean) is not available to apply for international admissions. You cannot change/modify your documents after you have submitted them. All documents and the application fee are non-refundable. C. The application including all the documentations should reach our office before Nov. 1. We do not accept an incomplete application or late deliverance in any situation. D. The admissions committee makes a decision according to the result of the interview and Personal Inventory Test. E. Admissions results will be announced on the school website for your viewing. We do not inform the admissions results individually or open the admissions scores to the public. VIII. New Student Information A. New students cannot stop-out in the 1st semester. B. Your admission will be canceled if you fail to pay the deposit/tuition during the given periods set by the Business Office. C. Graduating student is required to submit the certificate of graduation by Aug. 21, 2015. D. Any false entry found on your application will result in a cancelled admission. IX. Visa & Alien Registration Card A. D-2 (Student) Visa Information Once your admission is confirmed, you need to either apply for a student visa (D-2) or permission for study. If you are currently abroad, you may visit the Korean Embassy in your country and apply for the student visa (D-2). If you are currently residing in Korea, you need to Torch Trinity Graduate University 4 apply for either student visa (D-2) or study permission at a local immigration office before school starts. We will send you the Certificate of Admission for the visa, once you pay the full tuition. B. Alien Registration Card Once you arrive in Korea, you should visit the local Immigration Office and apply for an Alien Registration Card. You must register within 90 days of your arrival. The required documents are the Application Form, passport, 3 pictures (3 cm x 4 cm), Student Certificate, and the application fee. You should always carry the card with you. Online Application l Applicants have to submit the “Online Application” for 2015 Admissions. - Applicant should sign up, and submit the online application at school website (www.ttgu.ac.kr). - Online Application in available during the given period for each admissions category. - Applicant complete to input; - l 1) Applicant Information 2) Photo Upload 3) Education 4) Work/Experience (optional) Applicants have to submit the required documents before the deadline, and pay the application fee. Print out “Photograph Identification” - Individual “Evaluation Number” will be given to each applicant when the Office activates your application after you complete the application process. - Applicant should print out he “photograph identification”, and bring it for the interview. Torch Trinity Graduate University 5 How to Get Your Reference Letters l Please seal the reference letters. l The reference letter must be written and sealed in the envelope by the referee. The applicant is not allowed to either write or read the contents of the reference letter. l The reference letter must be either mailed by the referee, or submitted by the applicant in the sealed envelope. If the reference letter is not sealed, the application will not be processed. l Reference letters may be given by alternate persons for the following reasons only: Ø In the case a reference letter from the senior pastor is not possible. If the applicant, or their parent is the senior pastor of the church, or the applicant has recently moved to the church, a reference letter from an assistant pastor of the church, or another pastor who knows well of the applicant’s life and spiritual state is acceptable. Ø In the case the academic advisor or professor is unavailable, or ten or more years have passed after graduation, a reference letter from a professor, a teacher or a Bible study leader who knows well of the academic capability of the applicant is acceptable. In the above cases, the applicant must indicate the reason for the change of reference on the application form. l Reference letters from family members and relatives are not accepted. l If the reference is unable to utilize English All English Program applicants must submit reference letters in English. Yet if the reference is unable to utilize English, the applicant must request translation of the reference letter by a third person. The original reference letter must be sealed and delivered to the translator, and the translator must seal in envelope both the original letter and the translated reference letter.
