zoonotic swine flu. People with regular exposure to pigs are at increased risk of swine flu
infection. These strains of swine flu rarely pass
from human to human. Symptoms of zoonotic
swine flu in humans are similar to those of
influenza and of influenza-like illness in general, namely chills, fever, sore throat, muscle
pains, severe headache, coughing, weakness
and general discomfort.
In August 2010, the World Health Organization declared the swine flu pandemic officially
over.

has been released by the Union Ministry for
Communication & IT. The Kuka Movement
marked the first major reaction of the people
in the Punjab to the new political order initiated by the British after 1849. The Namdhari
Movement, of which the Kuka Movement was
the most important phase, aimed at overthrowing the British rule. The Namdharis were also
known as “Kukas” because of their trademark
style of reciting the “Gurbani”. This style was
in a high-pitched voice called “Kook” in
Punjabi. Thus, the Namdharis were also called
“Kukas”.
