George Washington Elementary PTA Playground Revitalization Project
Donate-a-Brick Fundraiser
George Washington Elementary School celebrates its 20th anniversary this year! Join us in celebration as we,
the GWES PTA, move forward to bring our students and community the needed improvements to our school's
outdoor space. Already, the GWES PTA has had measurable success since beginning the Playground
Revitalization Project in the 2013-14 school year. A new Comet was installed in December, 2014, and a new
multi-slide climbing structure and two additional Comets are scheduled to be delivered and installed over
Spring Break, 2015. Now, the students of GWES need your help to raise funds for continued playground
renovations. All of the money raised will go directly to the students in the form of new playground equipment
and needed improvements including: a new, larger gazebo to replace the current, dilapidated structure and
provide shade; and a half basketball court to provide physical play opportunities.
To celebrate Washington Elementary's 20 years of service to the community and its new outdoor space, the
GWES PTA is excited to offer you the opportunity to purchase an engraved recognition brick with your own
personal message. Depending on the response to this campaign, the donated bricks will be installed as either
a pathway or a patio area adjoining the playground. Be among the many students, alumni, faculty, parents,
staff, friends, and businesses to purchase an engraved brick. Individualize a brick for your family, honor a
loved one, commemorate a special occasion, feature your business or make a memoriam. Your personalized
brick will become a lasting tribute, paving the way for generations to come.

bricks is May 1, 2015, so don’t delay – ORDER TODAY!
The GWES PTA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your brick donation is tax deductable. Canceled checks
are no longer valid substantiation for charitable gifts over $250. A tax receipt is available upon request.

The bricks are 4”x 8”x 2 ¼” and 8"x 8" x 2 ¼” and are engraved using state of the art laser technology.
Every brick engraving is guaranteed for life!
