Betty Jean Johnson Betty Jean (Parks) Johnson went to be with the lord on April 5, 2015. Betty was born July 19, 1948, in Pierre, SD. She was preceded in death by parents, Theodore Parks Sr. and Alice Elizabeth (Turner) Parks; one sister, Sharon Raye Parks; niece, Debbie Rouse; and three brothers, Theodore Parks Jr., Donald Parks, and Edward Parks. She is survived by her sister, Donna Marie (Theodore) Kemery of Pierre, SD; her significant other and best friend, David Peck and his son, Brett Peck; four sons, Danny Hansen and Patrick (Britney) Hudalla of Rapid City, SD, Theodore (Chelsea) Hudalla of Plattsmouth, NE, and Bobbie Hansen of Minnesota; three daughters, Karen Stuart (Ken), Danelle Hansen, and Cheryl (Paul) Bettmeng of Rapid City, SD. Betty was blessed with 13 grandchildren, Javen, McCoy, Tyler, Drew, Austin, Zachery, Abigail, Samantha, Adrian, Amber, Kelton, Michael, and Jay; and nephews, David and Donald Rouse Betty was a member of The American Legion, the Eagles Club, and Family Life Church in Gillette, WY. She also attended Fountain Springs Community Church where she was recently baptized. Memorials are suggested to the family at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, % Cheryl Bettmeng, 1235 Junction Avenue, Sturgis, SD 57785. Burial will be in Pierre, SD at a later date.
