We wish each of you a properous and happy 2015.! Ken Mann & Son cc have two new
branches and we write to you in order to provide you with the details thereof along with
details of our current branches.
PRETORIA (NORTHERN GAUTENG)
This branch is managed by Evert Deyzel (0748884945), who will be dealing mainly with
homeowners claims and liability claims (Not automotive/mechanical). Evert is a qualified
Quantity Surveyor, with a mining background, and has been trained on liability claims and
homeowners claims and is currently being trained to deal with householders and vehicle theft
claims. He will however not be dealing with Motor Assessments.
PIETERMARITZBURG – (KZN)
Managed by Mark Mann (0837185722), who will be dealing mainly with the investigation of
motor vehicle accidents, homeowners claims and all types of liability claims (Including certain
automotive/mechanical claims). Mark will not be dealing with Motor Assessments.
WITBANK/EMALAHLENI (MPUMALANGA)
This branch is managed by Stephen Isenegger (0824135385), who is well known in the
industry and is a member of the Institute of Loss Adjusters. Stephen has vast experience in
practically all types of claims and will be dealing with homeowners, householders, vehicle
theft, all risks, commercial, liability and agricultural claims and he will also be doing motor
assessments. The main sentra within 160km radius are Witbank, Middelburg, Groblersdal,
Marble Hall, Bronhorstspruit, Delmas, Secunda, Bethal, Standerton, Ermelo, Belfast,
Nelspruit, Lydenburg, Sabie, Springs, Benoni and Boksburg. (Full list of town available).
ROODEPOORT (SOUTHERN GAUTENG)
The CEO is Ken Mann who is retired, but acts in a supervisory role to all the loss adjusters
and deals with some motor accident investigations.
This branch is managed by Sid Mann (Snr) (0832273260), who is also the National Branch
Manager. He is well known in the industry and is an Associate member of the Institute of
Loss Adjusters. Although Sid Mann can deal with almost any claim, his speciality/preference
is Liability claims and Agricultural claims.

Sid Mann (Jnr), (0836552430), deals with householders, vehicle thefts and all risk claims,
both personal and commerical and has many years experience in these claims. He is duly
qualified in insurance via completed studies at UNISA and is in the process of obtaining
membership to the Institute of Loss Adjusters.
Andre Gericke, (0798560306), deals with homeowners and liability claims, both personal
and commerical and has many years experience in dealing with these claims. He is currently
in the process of obtaining membership to the Institute of Loss Adjusters.
Malcolm Parker, (0824554699), deals with all motor assessments within any reasonable
radius of Roodepoort, and his been in the motor assessing industry for most of his career
and has vast experience. Ken Mann have Audatex facility’s, should they be requested on
Motor Assessments.
Piet Badenhorst, (0834484408), deals mainly with mechanical/automotive claims, both for
own damage and liability claims. Piet has an vast experience and knowledge of all
mechanical components of trucks and cars and specifically regarding diagnosis of reasons
for failure of such components.
Tommie Rootman, (0817116865), also deals with mechanical/automotive claims, both for
own damage and liability claims and also has vast experience and knowledge of all
mechanical components of trucks and cars and specifically regarding diagnosis of reasons
for failure of such components.
END NOTE
Ken Mann & Son cc Loss Adjusters have a total of 10 Loss Adjusters, with various skills and
can assist insurers with most types of claims. We have R4 million Professional Indemnity
cover, but in fourty years of trading have never had a claim against such insurance. Although
our loss adjusters normally work within a reasonable radius of their offices, we are prepared
to work anywhere in South Africa, should our expertise be required outside the normal radius.
All administration is done at our head office in Roodepoort by a team of five lady’s.

reception will acknowledge the instruction and ensure that the correct loss adjuster is
appointed on the claim. It is with sadness in our hearts that we are saying farewell to our
receptionist, Retha Badenhorst, at the end of January 2015, as she is moving to the South
Coast, but we welcome Loesje Mann, who will be taking over from her as receptionist.
