1.IN TRO D UC TION
The INTERNATIONAL BUDO KARATE ORGANIZATION (IBKO) is the organizer for All Japan Open Karate Championship.
IBKO was established in 2011 by Kyokushin Sakamoto group (Shihan Shigenori Sakamoto), Kyokushin Anzai group
(Shihan Tomokichi Anzai). Besides Kyokushin, full-contact karate groups are participating in IBKO.
The All Japan Open Karate Championship had been held by Kyokushin Sakamoto group between 2009 and 2011 and
it has been held by IBKO since 2012.
This year it will take place on the 31st of October - the 1st of November 2015 in the Yoyogi National Stadium
(Second Gymnasium), Tokyo Japan.
Kumite (fight) categories are as follows.
1. Child, boy and girl who was born from Apr.2006 to Mar.2009 (1st-3rd grade of elementary school in Japan)
(this category is divided in three by age)
2. Child, girl who was born from Apr.2005 to Mar.2006 (4th grade of elementary school in Japan)
3. Child, boy who was born from Apr.2005 to Mar.2006 (4th grade of elementary school in Japan)
4. Child, girl who was born from Apr.2004 to Mar.2005 (5th grade of elementary school in Japan)
(this category is divided in two by weight, under 38kgs and over 38kgs)
5. Child, boy who was born from Apr.2004 to Mar.2005 (5th grade of elementary school in Japan)
(this category is divided in two by weight, under 38kgs and over 38kgs)
6. Child, girl who was born from Apr.2003 to Mar.2004 (6th grade of elementary school in Japan)

As to 1-13 categories ; Child , Junior and Youth , only player who won the right to participate through
the following qualifying tournaments can entry. But this condition is not applied to overseas participants.

3.INFORMATION ABOUT KUMITE COMPETITION

4. Qualifications for entry
(for kumite classes of Child , Junior and Youth )
Only player who won the right to participate by the qualifying tournaments mentioned in page 2
can take part in this championship. The champion of the previous year can participate without
qualifying.
These conditions are not applied to overseas participants.

Competitor should be proven to be a health by Doctor Certificate.

6. Inscriptions
1) The limit date for inscriptions of competitors, coaches , referees and officers is
Jul 29, 2015
* No inscription will be accepted after this date.
2) The official format and the photo data of competitors should be sent to Secretariat of IBKO
(Kyokushin Sakamoto Group) by e-mail prior to the dead line.
*If the competitor is under 18 years old, Parents permission(Authorization) should be also sent.
*The photo should be taken of the upper body of the competitors wearing Dogi .
No fighting pose. Not only face but upper body should be shooted. No black and white photo.
The name of the photo data should include the competitor s name.
3) The inscription cost to participate for overseas competitor is 2,000 JPY, considering the cost
of overseas travel. This includes Lunch Box . (For Japanese competitor 10,000 JPY)
4) The weight in and the checking of inscriptions will be done at the 2nd gymnasium of
Yoyogi National Stadium on Oct. 31, 2015 (14:00 - 16:00).
* All the competitors, referees, coachs and officials in the same group must come together
at the same time.
* The following documents must be prepared.
- Passport *to check the nationality and age.
- Doctor Certificate stating fit to compete
*anthropometry (height, weight) / blood pressure / diagnostic interview
- The participation fee 2,000 JPY / competitor
* The weight in will be done wearing Dogi . The excess within 2kgs will be allowed.
In case of the excess over 2kgs, the competitor will be disqualified.
The competitor in growth phase should carefully select the class, considering the growth
in several months.
5) The organizer will give the number cloth which should be fixed to the back of competitors
and the brochure after the checking of inscriptions on Oct. 31, 2015.
6) Two coaches per competition mat will be permitted.
7) The organizer has the right to cancel or modify categories in case the number of participants
does not reach the minimum number. In such case it will be announced as soon as we can.

4.GENERAL RULES CONCERNING THE COMPETITION
1. Only official format inscriptions which you can get from IBKO s website or secretariat
will be accepted.
The document is invalid if the deficiencies.
2. Each competitor must have a personal insurance, for any accident that may occur at the
competition. The organizer will take a band-aid measure but does not assume responsibility
for subsequent.
3. In case the registered person is no longer able to participate, notify the Secretariat of IBKO
immediately.
4. Protest against the referee will not be accepted
5. Competitors are prohibited to wear accessories. In addition, wearing inner shirt under Dogi
at the opening ceremony is not allowed.
6. Portrait rights of competitors in this championship belong to the organizers. Video and images
may be used in the organizer's web site and publications. Please contact the Secretariat
in advance if inconvenient.
7. Eating food is possible only at the seat of the second floor of Yoyogi National Stadium.

5.YOYOGI NATIONAL STADIUM (2ND GYMNASIUM)
The Yoyogi National Stadium (国立代々木競技場 Kokuritsu Yoyogi Kyōgi-jō) is an arena
in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo, Japan which is famous for its suspension roof design.
It was built between 1961 and 1964 to house swimming and diving events in the 1964 Summer
Olympics. A separate annex (2nd gymnasium) was used for the basketball competition
at those same games, which is a bowl-shaped structure with a magnificent cone-shaped ceiling.
The 1st arena holds 13,245 people and is now primarily used for many important sport events
on national, international and world levels, as well as many musical concerts, and many other
different events.
