This has been an exciting year in Kentucky for Peer Support! More and more Kentucky Peer Specialists are being hired and we are excited to now have 10 Consumer Operated Programs across the state. With peer support being recognized as a Medicaid reimbursable service, we are experiencing a whole new level of respect and demand for peer delivered services. People all over Kentucky are being inspired by the wonderful support offered by caring people who have “walked the walk.” This year, we are excited to be offering a special track for providers of mental health services who are working with Kentucky Peer Specialists. These providers will get the opportunity to meet and experience the wonderful peer support heroes from across the state. Please join us for our biggest and best conference ever! In addition, there will be general recovery workshops open to everyone. All workshops are approved for continuing education credits for Kentucky Peer Specialists.
