Montgomery Co Area Technology Students Participate in The 2014-2015 REGION 12 SKILLS USA COMPETITION on February 28. Montgomery County Area Technology Center students participated in the Region 12 Skills USA Competition on February 28 at Mason County Area Technology Center. Students from Foster Meade CTC, Morgan County ATC, Montgomery County ATC, Mason County ATC and Fleming County High School competed in leadership and technical competitions. Students succeeding in their contest areas are eligible to attend Skills USA KY, which will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville, KY April 22-25, where approximately 1,000 students will compete in occupational and leadership skill areas. Students attending the regional competition from Montgomery Co ATC were Community Service: Eli Roach, Mecca Clark and Kendra Fugate, Auto Tech: Jonathan Egelston and Jay Hardin, Carpentry: Dustin Parker, Welding Fabrication : Travis Dees, Mitchell Tabor and Kyran Barnes, Welding I: Travis Mobley and Welding: Austin Arnett and Jonathan Glass. Montgomery County ATC Skills USA Advisors are Jeff McCarty, Glendon Harris and Joe Mitchell.
