OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013 - Submission of declaration of assets
and liabilities by the public servants for each year - regarding.
Departrnent of Persomel & Training vide their O.M.No.4A7llzDAl4- AVDIV(B) dated 25.04.2015 (copy enclosed) have informed that the last date for filing
returns of assets and liabilities under The Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013 by all
pubiic servants has been revised from 30tr'April.2Qf 5 to 15tr'October. 2015.

It is therefore, requested that all attached
and subordinate offices of the
Ministry of Labour & Employment may bring the above mentioned provisions to the
notice of the officers/staff.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department's D.O. letter
of even number dated zg'e December, 2014 regarding the furnishing of
information relating to assets and liabilities by public servants under section
44 ofthe Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013 and forwarding therewith copies
of the Centra,l Government's notifications dated 26tn December, 2014

(a) amendment to the Lokpal & Loka}'uktas (Removal of Diffic':1ties)
Urcier, 2ttL4, fcrr the prupose of extending the time limit for carrying
out necessarT changes in the relevant rules relating to different
servic:es from "three hundred and sixty days" to "eighteen, months",
from the date on which the Act came into force, i.e., 16'n JanuorY,
2014; and
(b) the Public Servants (Furnishing of Information and Annual Return
of
Assets anci Liabiiities and the Liniits for Exemption of Assets in
Filing Returns) Amendment Rules, 2014, extending the time limit for
filing of revised retums by all public servants from 31" December,
2014 to 30ft April, 2015.
