SPEND YOUR SPECIAL DAY WITH US
While research serves as priority at Lacawac and its field station, the board of trustees permits Lacawac and its staff to rent Lacawac's
facilities to groups and individuals beyond the scope of research in order to help the organization meet its financial goals and
obligations.
Wedding Package Includes: Day use of Watres Lodge (Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen), Carriage House/Barn
(first floor ONLY), lakefront dock and lodge lawn for event - Caterer access to kitchen - Use of the 2nd floor lounge
in the Lodge for bridal party preparations - Complimentary overnight use the Isabel Watres Bridal Suite bedroom Access to Lodge to set up the day before (after 4pm; with prior arrangements)
A la Carte Additions: Overnight lodging for guests in Lodge (upon availability) $45 per person - Overnight lodging
for guests in Ice House (sleeps 5 people) $250 - Day use of the Lodge (pre or post wedding; living and dining rooms,
kitchen) $250 per day
Available 2016 Dates: Lacawac Sanctuary reserves several weekends each year to accommodate special events such
as weddings. The following weekends are available in 2016: May 14/15 - May 21/22 - May 29/29 - July 2/3 – August 13/14
- August 20/21 - August 27/28 - September 3/4 - October 15/16
Booking Your Event: For a secured reservation, 50% of the total fee is required to hold a date.
At Lacawac, the rental fee for your wedding is affordable at a cost of $2,000. The
money you save allows you the opportunity to add little touches that reflect your style.
