Tuam Diocesan Pilgrimage in Newly Refurbished Basilica: Treat yourself to a visit at the newly refurbished Basilica in Knock by joining the Diocesan
Pilgrimage to the Shrine NEXT Sunday 3rd . It will be led by Archbishop Neary and the Ceremonies will commence with the Blessing of the Sick at 2.30 pm.

Easter Dues: Thanks to all who have contributed (315 contributions to date) to the Easter collection for the support of the priests.
Thank you for your continued support of our priests. This is one of the four collections annually which priests rely solely on.
The four collections are - Easter, Summer, Harvest and Christmas.
Lough Derg Pilgrimage Season opens NEXT Saturday 2nd with One Day Retreats which continue on 3, 4, 9, 10, 12, 16, 17, 19, 23, 25, May.
Advance booking is essential. The Three Day Pilgrimage season begins on Friday 29th May. You can begin the Three Day Pilgrimage any day between 29th
May and 13th August. Pre-booking not required.

Colm Fitzgerald Memorial Walk in aid of Athenry Simanjiro Partnership: The annual May Monday Walk will be held on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May.
Walkers will have the option of doing 5k or a more leisurely 2k or 3k. The walk begins at the Social Service Centre, New Line (off Tuam Road) at 11.00am.
Light refreshments will be provided at the Centre after the walk. This fundraising is to maintain the services that have been set up through this partnership.
No sponsorship cards required - just make a donation of your choice on the day. Each cent matters and goes directly to the cause. The walk is being
dedicated to the memory of Colm, who worked tirelessly from the foundation of the charity in 2005 until his death on May Monday 2011.

volunteers. All concerns, suspicions, disclosures or allegations of abuse must be referred as soon as is possible to a Diocesan designated person. The Archdiocese has appointed two designated persons: Fr.
John O’Boyle (093) 522 84 and Ms Mary Trench (087) 9315 823. Mr. Frank Kearney is the appointed Parish designated person (085) 1266 133. In the event of a Diocesan designated person not being available or a
child being at immediate risk, contact should be made with the local Health Service Executive duty social worker – Galway 091 523 122 and 546 369, Tuam 093 26 800, Athenry 091 544 274 or during out of duty
social work hours with local Gardai. The Archdiocese is committed to keeping confidential all personal information about children and their families. The only exception will be when child protection concerns
arise. In this situation information will be shared with the relevant authorities in the best interest of the child.
