Program Registration Policy
Sign up online using the ONLINE PORTAL
Members and program participants now have access to their Lakota Family YMCA account
online. Once you are registered for access in the Online Portal, you can register for most
programs and events, pay off balances, email, view account history and print receipts.
Instructions:
To register through the Online Portal, call the YMCA's Welcome Center at
(513) 779-3917 to be placed in our system. Make certain that ALL family members connected
to you are in the system.
*Don't wait until the day of registration to be set up to use the Online Portal.
Call ahead to make sure you and your family are listed in our system*
NOTE: Online registration is your best way to get into a class each session. Registration
starts at 8:00am on registration day. Walking in on registration day is your second best
option. Calling in to be set up on registration day is not recommended, since this puts you in
a call que and would prevent you from getting into a specific class or session.
Refund Policy
A full refund or credit will be issued to a participant if the YMCA cancels a program. A
program credit will be issued to the participants YMCA account if a participant withdraws from
a program with approval from the respective YMCA Director. The program credit can be used
for any program here at Lakota Family YMCA and may be used by any family member. We
do not guarantee refunds.

hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am until the
beginning of school and after school until 6:00pm. This is a
full-time service whether you use it or not. SPACE IS
LIMITED
Openings are available in our full-day child care program.
Our program challenges children in all developmental
areas. Our daily routine is designed to develop social
skills, stimulate learning with hands-on activities,
encourage speech and language development and
challenge motor skills.
Program Features Crafts, Games, Science and Nature,
Stories, Music and Song, Sports, Free Play, Study Time and

Program Goals In the context of a home-like environment,
the program provides:
 Safe environment (our staff is trained in First Aid and
CPR)
 Warm and responsible youth leaders
 Fun, creative group and individual activities
 Opportunity for quiet time and free play
 Quiet area for homework will be provided
Program Philosophy The purpose of our child care program
is to meet the developmental needs of school age children and
to serve family needs for quality care before and after school
hours. Our goal is to compliment the school (not duplicate) and
to emulate a warm home setting with intellectual stimulation,
supportive of the school age child’s emotional, social, cognitive
and physical developmental needs.
Qualified Staff All staff have been selected because of their
experience and genuine concern for children. The staff has also
under gone YMCA training in emotional and physical child
development, safety and self esteem building procedures.
Our curriculum is theme-based, designed to include
pre-reading and pre-math activities. Children will be able
to explore the centers while interacting with other
children and teachers. Children have the opportunity to
do individual and teacher directed activities. Art, science,

WHAT IF A CLASS IS FULL?
If your desired class is full, we encourage you to find a

We will cancel classes 24 hours prior to the first class and will
inform everyone registered of the cancellation.
WHERE CAN I WATCH MY CHILD’S SWIM
