The JCK Design Center is the place for both well
established brands and up-and-coming designers;
each with their own unique point of view and
individual aesthetic. Distinctive collections of
one-of-a-kind designs are found here, offering
designers incomparable exposure to over 23,000
qualified, global JCK buyers.

The Design Center is one of JCK’s most recognized
show floor areas. With the many events taking place on
the show floor each day; the Design Center community
has expanded opportunities to network and enjoy the

Beginning in April, JCK Las Vegas sends pre-registered
buyers weekly eNewsletters offering tips, tools, and
reminders to ensure they have an effortless and successful
buying experience. An edition fully dedicated to the Design
Center will highlight the Exhibitors and events.

JCK MARKETPLACE
Connect with qualified buyers and showcase your
products year-round with the Jewelry Industry’s
essential sourcing tool. Manufacturers, suppliers,
and designers can create dynamic showrooms in a
secure online environment, extending networking and
sales opportunities throughout the year.
Individual interviews, known as, JCK Conversation
Pieces, are conducted through Twitter/Facebook
with designers to talk about their latest collections
leading up to the show.

THE JURY:
The jury is made up retailers, magazine
editors, stylists and other members of the
trade. The panel remains anonymous to
ensure fairness and impartiality. Design
Center Rising Star jurors are chosen not
only for their expertise but for their
professional reputation and willingness
to put aside whatever biases they may have.
They judge fairly without prejudice.
HOW THE
JURY WORKS:
The Design Center Exhibitors and the
Rising Star Program are juried selections
within JCK Las Vegas. Each applicant is
asked to submit an application along
with ten digital photo images and support
materials he or she feels will be helpful in
presenting an accurate view of their work.

Since 1995, JCK has shown its commitment to upand-coming designers through its Rising Star program.
This program offers designers the chance to make
their debut in the fine jewelry market, in booths that
are strategically positioned at a main entrance to the
show for maximum exposure. The Rising Star booths
are offered for only one year (with the hope of moving
to another area of the Design Center in their second
year). The jury uses the same criteria and procedure to
choose the Rising Stars as it does for the Design Center.
The only difference is that the applicant cannot have
exhibited in any other domestic fine jewelry trade shows;
thus making their participation in the Design Center at
JCK Las Vegas the company’s U.S. industry “debut.”

The jury ranks each applicant on a numerical
scale of one to five. Its members take into
consideration the quality of the materials
used, craftsmanship, originality and
salability. No one juror’s vote can pass or
reject an applicant. Those applicants with the
highest scores are notified of their acceptance
and are offered space in the Design Center
based on availability. All others are placed on a
wait list based on their numeric ranking.

Ten (10) digital photo images at least 300 dpi in jpeg format.

All products must be photographed on a white background (no other props
should be in the photo except for the jewelry).
•
Label each photo image with company name, accompanied by a complete
description of each pictured piece including materials used and suggested
retail price point.
•
Photos can be provided on a CD or sent electronically by email to Lars
Parker-Myers at [email protected]. All images must be
submitted with completed application.
•
Please note: CDs and collateral material will not be sent back unless you
provide clear instructions and a self-addressed stamped envelope.
