 LEADER ROLES
Tech Please discuss lighting strategies and worship song choices with your campus LifeKids staff and Konnect Plus Emcee. Keep your attention on the Emcee for cues to move onto the next segment in the Pro Presenter bundle. The live elements loop indefinitely, so unlike the weekend experience, you will be responsible for moving the elements forward. Elements of the Pro Presenter Bundle: 1. Show rerun from previous weekend 2. Welcome song (Konnect Plus Theme Song) 3. The Point (continuous loop) 4. Game intro 5. Dot loop (continuous loop) 6. Birthday loop (continuous loop) 7. The Verse (continuous loop) 8. Bible song 9. Book of the Bible intro — Bible Theater 10. Logo loop (continuous loop) 11. Drop three songs here for worship 12. The point (continuous loop) 13. Logo loop (continuous loop) Konnect Plus Emcee Your role is crucial to keep kids engaged and behavior moderated during each segment of the Konnect Plus experience. Use the order of experience listed on this page to determine your transitional strategies between one segment and the next. You will need to cue your tech to move on to each segment. Be sure to read the Konnect Plus Stage Game Leader Guide for the month. It will aid you in easily facilitating the Stage Game from week to week. There is a review time toward the end of the evening. Come up with a few questions during the evening or ahead of time to ask during this segment. Examples: What did you learn? What did you enjoy? Who did you find out about tonight? What did you do in the Konnection rotations? What was the best part of the video time? Which worship song did you like best? What is the Point? What is the Verse? If the Konnect Plus experience is over, but parents have not yet arrived, use the Bonus Activity Dots Set as a time tamer. Select one child from the evening’s winning team and ask them to draw one Bonus Activity Dot out of the bag. Read the Bonus Activity Dot directions out loud and lead the whole group through it. Konnection Center Leaders Your LifeKids campus staff will already have the supplies you need in your classroom, but you will distribute supplies and reset the room between each Konnection rotation. Read the Konnection Leader Guide for the Konnection rotation you will be leading ahead of time. That way you will be familiar with the point and logistics of the Konnection rotation and best practices for administering the content and materials. Always call on the Team Leaders that are in the room for support. LEADER ROLES
Team Leaders A Team Leader keeps their team together, maintains good behavior within their team, transfers their team from one place to another, and assists the Emcee and Center Leaders by engaging children fully during whole group experience times and Konnection rotation activities. Team leaders can distribute materials and engage children in meaningful, relevant conversation during the Konnection rotations. Read the Craft, Snack, Play, and Bible Konnection Leader Guides ahead of time to know how to assist Center Leaders. Keep track of the order of the experience so you are prepared to model participation and to transfer teams to and from Konnection rotations. Team Leader Producer This is an additional responsibility assigned to one or two Team Leaders by campus LifeKids staff. When all of the children are assembled as a whole group, the Emcee will cue you to produce the materials needed or select child volunteers for each segment of the experience. You will need to be familiar with the location of materials such as: Bonus Activity Dot Sets, Dot Spots, Dots, Stage Game Materials, and Birthday Wheel. These will already be located within the Konnect room, but you will be responsible for getting materials out and putting them away. Be sure to read the Konnect Plus Stage Game Leader Guide for the month. It will aid you in easily producing the correct materials from the Stage Game Kit from week to week.
