The Birth
The Culture
Data of missing children and students in India put out by the Home
Ministry in 2014 shows that 3.25 lakh of them went missing in-between 2011
– 2014. The state of worried parents and school management unable to
tackle this situation led to the birth of Parent Konnect. With a noble idea in
our mind and encouragement by organizations like National Commission
for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) and National Centre for Missing
Children “Parent Konnect” was born just like a child.
The core culture of our company remains primarily focused towards
every student’s safety whether in school, college or travelling back
home. Our team believes in simplifying technology while enriching the
experience in the ﬁeld of education for Parents, Teachers, Students and
the School Management.
Today we have put together a technology in place with a help of a
simple application that goes far ahead and covers not only the safety of
a student, but also helps create a next generation school. With active live
feeds of attendance and progress, Parent Konnect will share the
responsibility of parent’s concern, hard work of a student, the knowledge
of a teacher and responsibility of the school management. Our team is
working with various institutes to tailor-made solutions that work best for
each individual school, colleges and universities.

You've probably read articles about creating a
professional web presence for yourself. Have you
ever considered how improving your schools digital

I'll run through a number of different tools which
have almost become necessities, with the aim of
improving your schools digital identity.
What is a digital identity?
To put it simply, a digital identity is anything digital that the general public can see. This
can include email addresses, school websites, a smartphone app, a school website etc.
You wouldn't arrive at a press conference in a track suit, so why not put the same thought
process towards your digital identity?
Design a School Website
A surprising amount of schools don't have a website online. If they do,
they are often out-dated with little to no useful information. When you
are looking to design a school website, remember to include
information such as term dates, prospectus information, upcoming
events and perhaps even a blog. Blogs can be a great way to give
students experience in writing on an online platform. It's also very nice
for the parents to see their children’s journalistic potentials!

An increasing amount of schools are releasing branded smartphone apps for parental
communication, pupil communication and a whole range of other reasons. With Push
