Fiddler’s Grove is in Need of Volunteers
MAY BINGO @ 1:00
Fiddler’s Grove is the beautiful village at the Wilson County
Fairgrounds/Ward Ag Center. You could say that it is the “best
kept secret” in Wilson County. Many people don’t realize that
Fiddler’s Grove is open to the public year round. On Fridays the
Grove is buzzing with lots of activities and they need your help
in maintaining and showcasing this lovely place. They need volunteers who can help clean and maintain the farm equipment,
work in the General Store, type info into the database of artifacts, lead tours, too many opportunities to name them all. They
also need artisans' (crafters) to sit in the various areas just doing
your thing; crochet, knitting, basket weaving, beading, playing
music, etc. . . Volunteers with at least 24 hours will receive a one
day pass to the Wilson County Fair and over 48 hours will receive a season pass. If you are interested, please contact Gwen
Scott at the Fair Office at (615)443-2626.
