LEO Agriculture’s Triple auger vertical TMR feed mixers are designed to process high hay or baleage
rations. These machines offer the lowest loading height standard in the industry. The LEO machine is a
heavy duty machine to withstand the toughest mixing conditions. The machine’s decagonal side wall
design allows for faster processing of round bales and reduces bale spinning with the rotation of the
auger.The pressure application and relief design of the sides along with the side wall hay restriction
knives makes LEO the best choice when processing round bales and baleage. The LEO machine utilizes
a strong fabricated chassis design. This allows the load cells to be mounted to the chassis in a protective area between the chassis and mixing tub. This also allows weight to be exerted directly downward
on the weigh bars. This is more accurate and improves weigh bar life compared to spindle and tongue
mounted load cells which has a constant adverse direction of load and shock on the weigh bars when
maneuvering around the farm. The LEO machine comes standard with a minimum of 36 knives on the
augers to improve cutting. Two hay restrictors in the sidewalls which are also knives to create a scissor
effect and LEO utilizes three of the strongest planetary gearboxes on the market sourced out of
Boothwynn, Pennsylvania rated for 2,100 cubic foot combined. The leading edge of the auger utilizes
an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene �loor sweeper which glides directly on the �loor. This
reduces horsepower requirements and creates a more homogenous mix by sweeping grain and minerals onto the auger and into the ration. This machines comes standard with stainless steel liners and
transmision.
