Liberty Mutual Insurance and the Pat Smith Habitat for Humanity Endowment Fund cordially invite you to
participate in the Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational Golf Tournament to be held at Spring Valley Golf Club
on August 10, 2015.
The Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational is the #1 Charity Event in Golf! Proceeds from Lexington’s Liberty
Mutual Insurance Invitational will benefit Lexington Habitat for Humanity’s Pat Smith Endowment Fund.
Members of the winning team will receive TaylorMade R15 Drivers as well as the opportunity to play in the
National Finals at Pinehurst. Other top teams will win prizes from Liberty Mutual Insurance, TaylorMade,
Polaroid, Voice Caddie, Blank Label, and Sports Vision Eyewear. All players will receive gifts including an
adidas polo shirt, TaylorMade golf balls, a magnetic stainless steel cable bracelet, a subscription to Golf
Digest and much more - valued at over $300 per person!
Golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate in this nationwide scramble series. Participants can form
their own teams or be placed with other participants. Teams must consist of four amateur players whose
combined USGA Handicap Index totals 43.0 strokes or more. Only one member of a team may have a USGA
Handicap Index of 8.0 or less. However, all four players may have USGA Handicap Indexes higher than 8.0.
These team formation requirements provide everyone - men and women, scratch golfers and high
handicappers - with a chance to win.
Last year we celebrated surpassing the original Endowment Fund goal of raising $1 million dollars! Thanks to
you, the Endowment Fund will be able to sustain building one house in Lexington annually and providing
scholarships for international Global Village missions to build Habitat homes in other countries. This year the
Endowment Fund has sponsored two remodeled homes and will be supporting construction of a new home
this fall. By joining the Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational, you are helping continue Pat’s legacy of creating
simple, decent, affordable housing for low-income families.
A volunteer from Lexington Habitat for Humanity or Liberty Mutual Insurance will call soon to ask you to be
