Any pupil who is seen riding a bike or scooter on school site will be given a red card. I have had many complaints from parents that their children have been bumped into or hit by pupils riding bikes. This is a health and safety issue. Please ensure that your children respect this rule. How did your class do this week? This week the Friendship cup is awarded to Mckenzie in year 1 for being kind and caring in class. Well done McKenzie we are very proud of you. Nursery and Reception parents were invited to join us for a series of experiments including: watching what happens when melting ice and oil try to mix, making filter paper planets and making soap powered boats! We would like to thank the Family Butchers at the Oval for donating the much needed trays for our boat experiment. The session was very exciting and was described by the parents as being "enjoyable, children and parents could experiment and participate together and share the experience.” and a "Fab morning. Really interesting and enjoyed seeing what happens in the experiments. Really great ideas and fun for home activities.” 72% of parents strongly agreed and 28% agreed that they would recommend further sessions to other parents. We would like to say a massive thanks to all the parents for their continued support and interest without it we couldn't hold such fun filled events. School Dinner menu change.
