2015 LANARK HIGHLANDS FOREST RALLY SPECTATOR AREAS
Lavant Mill Rd (between Closs's Rd and Airport Rd) and Umphersons Mill Rd (between Horne Lake Rd and Porcupine Way)
will not be accessible at any point during the rally. The cars will be passing each spectator location five times, with the first
pass at approximately 10:42 AM at Gemmells Rd and 11:14 AM at Ladore Rd.

SPECTATOR SAFETY INFORMATION
Persons attending the Lanark Highlands Forest Rally do so at their own risk! We suggest that you prepare as if you were
going for a walk in the woods. Bring items such as : food, water, sun and weather gear, rain and bad weather gear, bug spray,
chairs, a camera, a watch and a flashlight. Make sure your vehicle is fueled up and your tire pressure has been checked. If
you have a GPS put the directions to HQ in it (974 Concession 9A
McDonald's Corners, Ontario K0G 1M0) the phone number is 613-278-0388. By observing the precautions above, your day at
the Lanark Highlands Forest Rally should be both memorable and enjoyable.
While spectating, please obey the instructions of the marshals. Your safety, as well as that of the competitors, is at stake. You
may have to move your car if, in the opinion of the rally organizers, emergency vehicles could be hampered by its location.
Please keep in mind that all local authorities, and the Ontario Provincial Police, are very familiar with the route of the rally.
Play it safe and stick to the posted speeds!
PLEASE DRIVE SAFELY!! TIPS to ensure that your rally spectating experience is a good one:
 Don't stand too close to the road
 Don't block escape routes. Rally cars may need the runoff room, and emergency vehicles need to have fast access




to the road in case of an emergency.
Try to keep behind something solid, such as a large tree or rock.
Leave room to move quickly.
Keep children under supervision and dogs on a leash.
Listen to the marshals. They are there to ensure your safety and enjoyment of the event.
