Be a Part of Summer in the City!
Little T wants to Serve our World and build connections in our community this
summer, from new neighbours to international visitors with the Pan Am games.
We'll be offering Open Door Hospitality, Music in the Park, Summer Day Camp
and our ongoing Coffee Outreach. You can be a part of this through praying, volunteering, helping in leadership and spreading the word. Learn more in the Easter
edition of PRINT, the Magazine of Little T and contact the church office to sign up
or to ask questions. Where else would you rather be this summer?
Doors Open 2015
Little Trin ity has the proud tradition of being part of Doors Open Toronto for the
past 11 years. This year, the focus of event is on sport, recreational, and leisu re as
an homage to the Pan Am/Para Pan Am Games. Due to the high number of venue
applications related to this special theme, Little T was asked to tak e a break from
participating. We are still considering our options for scaled back activities during
Doors Open weekend this year (May 23 & 24) and we have been assured by the
City that we will again be a participant in Doors Open 2016. If you regularly
volunteer for Doors Open, consider signing up to support and participate in the
Summer in the City events or speak to Scott Armstrong ([email protected])
regarding our evolving open house plans.
Pre-Authorized Giving
Pre-authorized giving (PAG) helpfully addresses the monthly expenses of our
church without dipping into our line of credit. If you are interested in signing up
for PAG, you can in the Parish Hall. Bring a blank cheque today or next Sunday. In
order to keep your giving anonymous, forms will be placed in a sealed envelope
that only John Nicholson will open. If you give regularly by pew envelope, please
consider signing up for regular envelopes. Using these envelopes makes our
counters’ jobs much easier. For more information about giving,

Stephen Ministry: One-to-One Lay Caring Ministry at Little T
Little Trin ity offers Stephen Ministry, providing high-quality, one-to-one Christian
care to people going through tough times. If you are experiencing a difficult
time—emotionally, spiritually, or relationally—you don’t have to suffer
alone. Stephen Ministers are highly trained, ready to listen, care for and
encourage you, pray with and for you, and provide one-to-one Christian care
to help you through whatever it is that you are facing. To find out more

Women’s Group - Sat May 2nd in the Annex, 9:30AM
We have become aware of a number of women in our church who quietly serve
people in our community - many of whom are poor, lonely, ill or disenfranchised in a variety of ways. They volunteer at Drop In Centres, local Churches, collect and
deliver needed goods and food, regularly spend time just listening as a heart is
poured out, visit the poor and drive the sick to appointments, praying for and
with them and caring for them as Jesus' hands and feet on this earth. We have
asked several women to tell us what and why they do what they do and to tell us
some of the stories of how they do it. We are looking forward to learning from
them and maybe even finding a new direction where God would have us
volunteer too. Sign up in the Parish Hall today and next week.

On May 2, 8PM, award-winning Canadian Jazz pianist, vocalist and songwriter
Laila Biali will perfo rm at Little T. This special Toronto album release will feature a
large ensemble including guest vocalists, a string quartet, horns and an awardwinning rhythm section. General admission $25·$20 seniors/ students. Tickets at

Little Trinity Park Revitalizat ion - Public Consultation April 20
The City of Toronto Parks Department will hold a public consultation meeting
tomorrow, 7 to 9PM to discuss improvements to parks in Cork town including
Little Trin ity Park. A Question and Answer sheet was handed out last week, if you
didn't receive a copy, pick one up at the back of the church today.
