Small Group Questions
HOW TO GET “UNSTUCK” SPIRITUALLY
BIG IDEA: What keeps Christians from walking victoriously in their faith? What hinders
spiritual growth or a desire for new understanding of the love of Christ? How can we
receive more power from the Holy Spirit? Jesus loves us so deeply that we must receive
power from Him in order to “grasp” it.
Digging Deeper:
1. Read Ephesians 3:16-21.
· Share of a recent experience in which you came to know Jesus in a closer way.
· What has helped you to understand the depth of the love of Christ for you?
· What has helped you to understand the depth of the love of Christ for other people or
the world?
· Describe experiences of being filled in a new measure of the fullness of God (or with
the Holy Spirit).
2. Compare those verses with Ephesians 1:17-18
· Describe an experience of having your eyes “enlightened.”
· Have you had an experience of receiving wisdom and revelation that helped you know
God better?
3. Read and compare the message of the following verses.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5
Hebrews 12:1-2
Philippians 4:4-8
4. How do you receive more of the Holy Spirit?
