A commitment to transforming the lives of people impacted by disabilities is made possible with the support of volunteers who share their talents and passion. We sincerely appreciate the work of our volunteers every day and will be celebrating and recognizing them in April during National Volunteer Month. “Volunteers enrich lives by helping people with disabilities experience a valued role in society, increasing self-assurance, wellness, independence and quality of life,” said Toni Gillen, Director of Community Life, Living Well Disability Services. “At the same time, volunteers have told us that they receive even more in return; new friendships, a sense of purpose and new skills.” Did You Know?
