BUDGET UPDATE: We will finish our
fiscal year at the end of June. Our budgeted
income for May is $176,578, and as of
May 19 the church has received $79,697.
Expenses continue to be in line with what
we expected and are actually under budget.
The Elders would like to say thank you
for your faithful giving. In order to finish
the 2014-15 fiscal year with a positive
variance we will need to receive $96,881 in
the month of May and $175,464 in June.
Please prayerfully consider how you can
help us to reach that goal.

Let us give thanks to God for the land of our birth with all its chartered liberties.
For all the wonder of our country’s story
Leader:
People: We give you thanks, O God.
Leader:
For leaders in nation and state, and for those who in days past and in these present
times have labored for the commonwealth
People: We give you thanks, O God.
Leader: For those who in all times and places have been true and brave, and in the world’s
common ways have lived upright lives and ministered to their fellows
People: We give you thanks, O God.
Leader: For those who served their country in its hour of need, and especially for those
who gave even their lives in that service
People: We give you thanks, O God.
Leader: Almighty God and most merciful Father, as we remember these your servants,
remembering with gratitude their courage and strength, we hold before you those
who mourn them. Look upon your bereaved servants with your mercy. As this
day brings them memories of those they have lost awhile, may it also bring your
consolation and the assurance that their loved ones are alive now and forever in
your living presence. Amen.

God of Our Fathers
Thy love divine hath led us in the past, In this free land by Thee our lot is cast;
Be Thou our ruler, guardian, guide, and stay, Thy word our law, Thy paths our chosen way.
From war’s alarms, from deadly pestilence, Be Thy strong arm our ever sure defense;
Thy true religion in our hearts increase, Thy bounteous goodness nourish us in peace.
Refresh Thy people on their toilsome way, Lead us from night to never ending day;
Fill all our lives with love and grace divine, And glory, laud, and praise be ever Thine!

Leader:
For leaders in nation and state, and for those who in days past and in these present

People: We give you thanks, O God.
The perfect wisdom of our God revealed in all the universe:
All things created by His hand and held together at His command.
He knows the mysteries of the seas; the secrets of the stars are His.
He guides the planets on their way and turns the earth through another day.
Leader: For those who in all times and places have been true and brave, and in the world’s
common ways have lived upright lives and ministered to their fellows
People: We give you thanks, O God.
Leader: The perfect timing of His ways along the path of righteousness.
His word a lamp unto my feet; His Spirit teaching and guiding me.
And O the wisdom of the cross to save the helpless and the lost,
He chose the fool to shame the wise that all the glory might go to Christ!
For those who served their country in its hour of need, and especially for those
who gave even their lives in that service
People: We give you thanks, O God.

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
O grant me wisdom from above to pray for peace and cling to love,
And teach me humbly to receive the sun and rain of Your sovereignty.
Each strand of sorrow has a place within this tapestry of grace.
So through the trials I choose to say: “Your perfect will in Your perfect way.”
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

For all the saints who from their labors rest,
Who Thee by faith before the world confessed,

Thou, Lord, their captain in the well-fought fight;
Thou, in the darkness drear, their one true light: Alleluia! Alleluia!
