Coffee morning at Llandegfan Parish Hall from 10-12 noon.

The Gilbert & Sullivan Society concert will be held in St. Mary’s Church on Friday 5th June at
7.30 p.m. The theme is “Oh marvellous illusion” and it features a semi-staged performance of
The Sorcerer together with excerpts from several other well-loved Gilbert & Sullivan operas.
Also included is a new, specially commissioned setting by Gareth Glyn of The Railway Song
from the opera Thespis for which most of Sullivan’s original music is lost.
Tickets £7 to include wine/juice - available from Lis Perkins and from members of the cast.

Wrth wylio’r tennis yn ddiweddar daeth y syniadau yma i’m meddwl wedi eu selio ar y sgorio
a’r iaith sy’n disgrifo’r gwahanol symudiadau. Tebyg i “Fywyd y Cristion?”
Whilst watching tennis recently the following ideas formed from the scoring and the descriptive
language for the variety of shots played......similar to “The Life of a Christian?”
LOVE: Mae’n cyfleu dim sgor .... “O” .... cylch. Fel cylch mae cariad Duw yn
ddiddiwedd....yn rhad ac am ddim i NI ond cost anferthol i’w Fab.
Indicates, no score....O......a circle. Like a circle, God’s love has no end....given freely...no cost to US
but what a cost to His Son.
SERVICE: gall gwasanaeth dda ennill y gêm pe bai chi’n ymroddi'n gyson a phob ymdrech,
â chanolbwyntiad dwys. Dim llai nag ACE i’r Arglwydd, Gristion!
With a lot of dedication, daily practice, effort and concentration, a really good serve can win a game.
