discontinue use and consult a dentist.
• Products containing peroxide are not recommended for use by children under 12 years of age.
• Avoid contact of the Luster Pro Light Accelerator Mouth Rinse and Super Whitener Gel
with the eye and direct contact of the Super Whitener Gel with the gums and/or salivary
flow.

• Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, or if any of the
medications you are taking could react with these ingredients. If in doubt, check with
your dental professional or physician.
• DO NOT STARE INTO THE LIGHT DURING OPERATION.
CAUTIONS
• For best results, do not eat, drink or smoke during applications.
• Consult with a dental professional before using if you have untreated dental cavities
or any form of gum disease.
• Should product cause a lasting noticeable skin reaction, flush with water for
15 minutes and consult a physician. If gum irritation occurs, stop using the product and
contact your dental professional.
• If you are pregnant, do not use this product without first consulting your doctor.
• Do not use with dental braces. Luster Pro Light does not whiten dental work such as
crowns, caps, fillings or veneers. It will not harm dental work, but it will whiten only natural
teeth.

COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Install Batteries: Follow the diagram inside the light to install the 4 AAA batteries (included).
Find Your Tooth Shade: Using the enclosed shade guide, determine your current tooth shade
by matching the color of your two front teeth to the closest color on the guide. Then, brush
and floss as you normally would.
Follow three simple treatment steps:
1. Rinse with Accelerator Mouth Rinse: Pour 10ml of rinse into the measuring cup
provided. Rinse for 10 seconds, making sure to swish vigorously.
2. Brush with Super Whitener Gel: Shake the gel bottle for 3-5 seconds.
Focusing on your “smile teeth,” the front six to eight teeth in the top and bottom of
your mouth, apply the gel to one tooth at a time, re-dipping as needed to ensure the
front and edges of each tooth are covered. Wait 20 seconds for the gel to dry before
allowing your teeth to come in contact with your lips or tongue.
3. Apply the Activating Whitening Light: Position the Whitening Light in front of your
teeth and press the button to turn it on. If you wish to rest your lips on the Light’s
rubber head, apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to prevent irritation. Hold the light
in place for 2 minutes. After this time, the light will beep and automatically turn off,
signaling treatment completion.
Repeat Steps: Repeat the above steps for up to 20 treatments, following your preferred treatment schedule. Then check the shade guide to see how many shades lighter your teeth are.
To help keep track of the number of treatments completed, use the whitening treatment
tracker on the back of your shade guide. Place an “X” under each treatment number once you
have completed that treatment.

Oral Irritation: Occasionally, some may notice a subtle whitening of the gums near the teeth.
If this happens, do not be alarmed unless it is causing you discomfort. Simply stop using the
product and begin your treatments again when the gum whiteness subsides in 24-48 hours.
When resuming treatment, we recommend following the Full Week Treatment schedule which
spreads the treatments over several days.
Prolonged contact with the Super Whitener Gel can cause gum or lip irritation. If gel comes
into contact with your lips, wipe it away immediately and rinse the exposed area with water.
To prevent irritation, you can apply petroleum jelly to the inside of your lips before beginning
treatment. To avoid saliva buildup during treatment, you can place a cotton ball or small
tissue inside your lower lip and under your tongue. Stop using the product if irritation occurs.
Irritation should subside in 3-7 days.
Maintaining Your Bright Smile: To ensure lasting whitening, we recommend avoiding certain
foods for 24 hours after your treatments, including coffee, tea, wine and tobacco products.
To help maintain your whitening, complete 5 whitening treatments every 2-3 months, and be
sure to perform a full 10-20 treatments every year to rejuvenate your bright smile.
ACCELERATING WHITENING LIGHT INSTRUCTIONS
Battery Installation & Use: IMPORTANT, Make sure the batteries are installed exactly as shown
in the diagram inside the light. Installing batteries incorrectly may cause permanent damage
to the light. To install the batteries, first remove the cap at the bottom of the Activating Light
by pushing the tab to “open.” Hold the light so that the head faces up, and insert the 4 AAA
batteries into the battery compartment following the diagram shown in the battery chamber.
Replace the bottom cap, making sure the switch can be moved to the “close” position. If you
would like to do more than 10 treatments, replace the batteries to insure optimal whitening
light power.
Whitening Light Cleaning: The contact surface of the Whitening Light, the rubbery piece that
surrounds the light head, should be cleaned after use. Wipe the contact surface with a damp
cloth and then use a cloth moistened with rubbing alcohol to disinfect it. Never submerge the
Whitening Light in water or any liquid.
Bulb Replacement: Bulbs should last for up to 5 hours of use. To replace the bulbs, remove
the head of the whitening light to reveal the bulbs. Use your thumb and index finger and
quickly pull straight. Insert the new bulbs into the opening and re-attach the head.

Whitening Light Troubleshooting:
If you are having difficulties with your Whitening Light, try the steps below:

CONDITIONS FOR SAFE STORAGE
If you don’t plan to use your Activating Whitening Light for some time, remove the batteries
to prevent possible leakage or corrosion. Keep the Super Whitener Gel away from heat,
sparks, or open flame, and store it below 85° F (29° C).

Each Activating Whitening Light comes with a 1 year mechanical warranty. If, for some
reason, your light no longer functions due to mechanical failure, just mail it in and we’ll send

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How far away should I hold the light from my teeth?
You should hold the light about .5 inches to 1 inch from your teeth. Be sure to hold it
so that the light shines on both the upper and lower teeth.
How many treatments should I do? Do I have to do all of the treatments consecutively?
Everyone’s teeth whiten at different rates, so do as many treatments as fit your desired
whitening level. We suggest 5-10 treatments at first to see if you have achieved the results
you’re looking for. If you wish to further whiten your teeth, continue with additional
treatments immediately, or resume the treatment over the next few days. Review the
treatment schedule options on pg. 3 to select from options that allow you to complete your
whitening in as little as 1 hour or as many as 7 days.
Do I have to use the rinse in between every application?
Yes. The Accelerator Mouth Rinse is necessary between cycles to remove the previous layer
of Super Whitener Gel and pretreats your teeth for your next gel application. Because the Gel
becomes inactive after the light treatment is completed, you’ll want to remove it to re-apply
a new layer of Gel for the next cycle.
How do I control excess saliva?
If you experience increased salivary flow, we recommend placing cotton balls or tissues
beneath your tongue before each application of the Super Whitener Gel.
How often can I use Luster Pro Light?

After completing a full whitening procedure (10-20 treatments), we recommend a touch-up
of 5 treatments every 2-3 months. A full procedure every 12 months will help maintain your
white smile.
How quickly will I see results?
Everyone’s teeth whiten at different rates. We recommend at least 10 treatments to notice
a shade improvement. You may perform up to 20 treatments.

Is Luster Pro Light safe on my teeth and dental work?

Luster Pro Light is clinically proven to be enamel-safe, and it does not cause tooth sensitivity.
While Luster Pro Light is completely safe for dental restorations like crowns, caps and veneers,
it will only whiten natural teeth. Your dental work will not whiten with Luster Pro Light.

How much Super Whitener Gel do I use, and is it safe to re-dip?
You should liberally apply the Gel to your teeth to ensure full coverage, and re-dip the brush
after covering each tooth. Because the Gel contains anti-microbial ingredients, it will kill
germs on the brush. However, we do not recommend sharing the Gel or brush with another
person.
Can I re-use my whitening system?
Yes! Luster Pro Light is designed to be re-usable. Just be sure to replace the batteries after
10 treatments to maintain your Whitening Light’s power. And if you need extra Super
Whitener Gel, Accelerator Mouth Rinse or bulbs, simply visit LusterPremiumWhite.com to
