The presenters will propose activities designed to be used in various teaching contexts and which can be adapted to a wide variety of language levels, from primary school learners to language and literature students in higher education. This is going to be a very dynamic, fun-packed day that we hope will motivate teachers to bring poetry into their teaching practice and also suggest to participants who already work with poems new ways of using them for language learning. Each workshop will focus on classroom activities allowing participants to go back to their teaching contexts with some ideas about how to further explore poetry in ELT. Alan Pulverness Chris Lima Amos Paran Conducting the workshops will be speakers with vast experience in the field of literature and language teaching, including some of the LMCS committee members and leading names in ELT.
