The Lord’s Prayer & Pastoral Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

PRAISE GOD! The medical treatment for Hepatitis C was effective and was
completed on March 19th; all the blood tests came back indicating that Al
is virus free! He has been traveling frequently, attending meetings,
dealing with reported threats to missionaries, assisting in several child
abuse cases;, and attending State Department briefings concerning
security risks in various areas. Plans for the near future include travel to
Papua New Guinea in July and possibly to Colombia in August to conduct
security training for missionaries. PRAY for him as he travels and PRAY for
Carole as she takes care of things at home in Tennessee.

VISIT FROM DENNIS CONROY
Dennis plans to be here in our area June 27 to June 30. The Missions
Committee is making some tentative plans for a pot luck lunch on Sunday
after church. Dennis has expressed an interest in meeting with small
groups over coffee or meals. As soon as he lets us know his arrival time
and departure time on those dates, we will make a sign-up sheet for
people who would be interested.
PRAYER CARDS
From the Tuesday prayer group members: We would encourage all to
take a prayer card and tell us your need. We pray for every card at the
Tuesday prayer meeting. We then give the cards to the Wednesday night
prayer meeting so that they can pray also. Your needs are saturated with
prayer. We would like for you to share your praises also so that we can
hold these up to our Lord and Savior.
Please consider joining our Prayer Groups which meet at 1:00 PM every
Tuesday and at 7:00 PM every Wednesday. The Tuesday group meets in
the Church House. The Wednesday group meets in the Choir Room.
Prayer cards can be found in your bulletin each week. If you’d like to
send a prayer request via email to the church office, it will be passed
along to the prayer groups.
