In return for its agreement to accept this entry form, I hereby release Ronald McDonald House Charities of Amarillo, its officers, directors, agents,
representatives, and the volunteers, sponsors, promoters, and all other persons associated with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Amarillo from liability for
any injuries received by me (or if the participant is a minor, then I release them from liability for injuries received by the minor for whom I am responsible)
during participation in this sporting event, which includes all post-race activities through the end of the awards ceremony and the conclusion of the event. I
recognize that participation in the event sponsored or in any way supported by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Amarillo exposes me and/or my family
member(s) to risks including, but not limited to, running-related injury, traffic, and other risks including cracks in the roadway or sidewalk, uneven running
surfaces, slick conditions, other participants in the race, weather-related hazards, and post-race accidents of any type. Notwithstanding these potential risks and
possibly other unanticipated risks, all of which cannot be listed, I HEREBY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY INJURY OR ACCIDENT

Award Categories for Male/Female ages for Marathon & Half Marathon – No 5k Awards:

4 Person Relay – Men’s, Women’s, Mixed
The average temperatures for mid April range from 41 to 62. The weather is unpredictable so come prepared. There will be no
refunds, exchanges or deferrals of race entry.
Amenities:
There will be 12 water stations with water and Sustain Sport hydration drink. Additionally, some water stations will have Clif
Bloks and a wide variety of food and snacks. The 5K will have a Hot Chocolate station at the midway point and hot chocolate
food items at the finish. The great post-race Expo at Verdure will have amenities including, entertainment, and free massages.

Course:
The Amarillo Marathon highlights the new areas of southwest Amarillo including The Colonies, The Greenways, The Hillside
Terraces, and Town Square Village. The 5K Hot Chocolate Run can be a fun run for the entire family or can be a competitive 5K
run. Either way there will be lots of hot chocolate! Whether you’re a lifelong local or an out-of-towner, we hope to see you on
April 11, 2015.
Course map will include relay exchange points. Each relay team consists of 4 relay legs of approximately 6.5 miles. Each relay
point will have a port-a-potty. Amarillo Marathon reserves the right to change the course as needed prior to race date. In
accordance with the guidelines issued by USA Track & Field and Wheelchair Sports USA, only runners, walkers and wheelchair
participants will be allowed on the course. Running with a running stroller will be allowed in the 5K Hot Chocolate Run provided
runners with strollers start at the back of the race.
Photos will be taken at the finish line for Marathon participants. Photos taken in front of the Amarillo Marathon Finisher Banner
and are available immediately after for only $5.00.
Medical Aid:
Medical aid will be provided at the finish line area by a physician. All police will have the ability to radio for medical assistance.

Amarillo Marathon is an all-volunteer organization, and we could not present this event without the generous support of our
race volunteers and sponsors. This is truly a community event and we do our best to support members of the community who
have donated their valuable time to help ensure that our participants’ needs are addressed. We are so grateful for you all.

Proceeds:
All proceeds for this special event will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Amarillo (RMHC). RMHC of Amarillo
provides a “home away from home” for families of sick children who travel to Amarillo for medical care. They serve families
with children ages birth to twenty-one. The top diagnoses last year were neonatal illness, accidents, high risk pregnancies and
oncology. Families were from seven states and Australia! RMHC of Amarillo provides lodging, evening meals, laundry facilities,
and transportation within the medical district to these families.
