 Tripod, Monopod & Easel Permission Form
Updated June 17, 2015 Tripod, monopod, and easel use by photographers and artists is permitted in the Gardens. Tripods may be used in the
Conservatory and Peirce-du Pont House from 9:00 am–noon only. Tripod, monopod, and easel use is not permitted
in the Indoor Children's Garden at any time. Tripod, monopod, and easel use is permitted in the Waterlily area. Tripod, monopod, and easel use is not permitted on high volume days or specially ticketed events such as the
Christmas display season and Fireworks & Fountains shows. Security will determine when to restrict their usage.
Tripod use is limited to garden photography, and is not allowed for individual or family portraits, product
photography, or portfolio photography for aspiring models and photographers.
All photographers and artists must purchase general admission tickets or be valid Members. Photography, painting,
or drawing sessions must not interfere with the enjoyment of other guests or create any safety concerns. Changing of
clothing or photography of bathing suits or lingerie is not permitted. Hand-held easels (without legs) for drawing or
painting are permitted any time. Portable chairs and equipment carts are not permitted. Lights may not be used at
any time. The use of props or signs is not permitted. All photography is at the discretion of Longwood Gardens. I agree that any photographs, video/film footage, and/or artwork I create at Longwood Gardens will not be used for
advertising, or commercial products or services. Longwood will not sign general releases giving blanket permission
for stock agencies to use photos taken at Longwood.
