U13/U14 Teams – 7:30pm-8:45pm
Location: Loudoun Soccer Park
Some important notes we are asking everyone to follow:
1) Please note your start and end times. Pick up and drop off will require patience from
everyone. Please reduce speed as you enter into the Park and as you leave.
2) Please be on time for pick up and drop off. If you are waiting for your child, if you can,
find space in the Park and Ride lot.
3) For the last session, please use the Park and Ride lot for drop off

Please find below details on the curriculum for the 5th week of TA Training at Loudoun Soccer
Park. Teams will be trained individually this week.
Technical Development - Passing - Session Structure

The focus of the 5 week’s session is passing.
Warm Up - (20 minutes)
- Players pass & move, variety of passing, use both feet
Technical Skills - (25-30 minutes)
- Addition of defensive pressure, finding space, separating from defenders, type of pass
Small Sided Games - (20-25 minutes)
Soccer Take Home Assignments
Passing the ball with quality is essential to individual and team development
1. Play ball against the wall. Vary the type of kicks towards the wall, vary the distance, use
both feet
2. Chip the ball, bend the ball, strike with laces, inside/outside foot
3. With a partner, start at 5 yards and develop to 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 yard passes.
Get 10 successful passes in a row between partners before moving back 5 more yards.

Reminder – Players should wear cleats and shinguards. Each player should bring a
soccer ball with his/her name written on it, and water to each session
