CNIT
• CNIT (Consorzio Nazionale Interuniversitario per le Telecomunicazioni)
is a Research Body, joined by 37 major Italian Universities. Its main
purpose is to carry out research and project activities in the areas of
telecommunications, computer networks and telematics.

• SeaBILLA - Sea Border Surveillance (FP7 - IP): maritime surveillance, information fusion.
• SIMOB (National Project)- regional test-bed for Mobility Information Services for
transport of people and goods, System-of-Systems for Intelligent Transport Systems,
Web and REST services for ITS.
• SITMAR (National Project)- ICT framework for dangerous goods transport monitoring
and handling, RFID, Complex Event Processing, service- and message-oriented
middleware.
• KAMER (Knowledge Management in Ambient Intelligence): Context Management

• SLIMPORT (Security, Logistics and Multimodal transport for ports): REST services and
