Camera key: Press and hold to activate the
camera when the phone is locked. Half press
to autofocus and full press to take a photo.
Power key: Long press for five seconds
to power on or off. Short press to lock and
unlock the screen. To hard reset the phone,
press and hold the power and volume down
keys simultaneously.
Volume Control keys: Press to increase
or decrease the ring volume, and tap the
system tone icon to switch between vibrate
or ring + vibrate. During a call, press to adjust

Take a screenshot
Press the Camera key and Start key at the same time to take a screenshot. The image
will save to the Screenshots album in the Photos Hub.
Multitask
Press and hold
to switch between running apps without going to the Start screen.
Turn location settings on
From the App list, tap Settings > location and
swipe right across the screen to turn on location
services. With this setting on, applications can
access your current location.
Link inboxes
While viewing your email inbox, tap
>
linked inboxes. Under the “Other inboxes”
heading, tap any inboxes you want to link to
your current inbox. Tap rename linked inbox,
enter a name, and then tap . All selected
email accounts display in one inbox so they
are easier to manage.

Change the theme
From the App list, tap Settings > theme and tap the field
under Accent colour. Then, select a colour to change the
colour of the theme.
Change the time out settings and password
From the App list, tap Settings > lock + wallpaper and change the
time out settings or password.
Change the keyboard language
From the App list, tap Settings > keyboard and select a different
language for the keyboard.
Silence ringer
When the phone is ringing, press the Volume key to silence the
ringer without immediately sending it to voice mail.
Copy and paste
Tap a word, and then drag the arrows at each end to highlight text.
