cne can leave its mark for years in the form of scarring, pockmarks and other skin blemishes. While some skin resurfacing
treatments like chemical peels and miscrodermabrasion can
improve the appearance of acne scars, SmartXide DOT Therapy is
the most effect for acne treatment and is also effective in stimulating the skin to

Acne scars will generally reflect the severity of acne. More severe acne will
mean more severe scars. Acne can often disappear only to leave a discolored or

In general, 1 to 3 treatment sessions will be scheduled, with the exact
number depending on the severity of active acne or acne scars and how well the
acne responds to each treatment.

Sessions will be spaced out about 2 months apart. In between each treatment you should see gradual improvement - a decrease in active acne and/or less
noticeable acne scars.

Each acne treatment session will last about 15 minutes.

Results: CO2 laser therapy for acne is the most effective solution for painful, active acne as well as the scars it leaves behind. Acne improves and scars can
diminish greatly after a series of treatments. Keep in mind that results will vary
from patient to patient.

Sun Spots
Suffering from sun spots on skin? These unwelcome patches of darkened skin make life harder in the cover-up department, that's for sure. But, instead of merely covering up sun
spots, take proactive measures in finding out what causes them and how to prevent more from popping up.
Preventing: The incidence of sun spot formation can be significantly reduced by limiting direct exposure to the UV rays of the sun. Avoid sun-bathing and always wear sunscreen
(SPF-30 or better) when outdoors.
Although experts disagree on which products are safe, they all agree that we should be slathering on some type
of product.
So how do sun spots start? Basically, it's a side-effect of staying in the sun too long, hence their name (also
called liver spots or, in some cases, age spots). Lentigines (sun spots or age spots) are very possible to get in the
early 20s. More commonly starting to appear in the 3rd and 4th decade of life, they arise due to genetics, aging,
and/or sun exposure.
Sun spots on skin can also be a condition called actinic keratoses, which causes skin to turn a brownish-red
color in certain spots. Theses spots are pre-cancerous and a physician might say that it's from not applying
enough sunscreen growing up. Obviously, there isn't anything to do to go back and change that now, but there are
proactive measures to fix the spots that exist now.
Sun spots on skin don't just appear on the face. It can occur on the chest and neck, hands and arms. The more
outside time without sunscreen on, the more likely the problem will be aggravated.
Sun spots on skin require strong medicine. Topical treatments made with hydroquinone work to bleach the
spots and even out the skin tone; however, measurable levels of hydroquinone are not available without a doctor's
prescription.
