as well as the lid, the Titan Cooler was designed to take any abuse

Keep it Cold...Longer
Coolers are temperamental, even really great coolers like Mammoth. Just
like your house, Mammoth Coolers have commercial grade Bayer Insulation
that keeps things cold or hot, depending. Since this is a cooler, most will use
Mammoth Coolers to keep things, well, cold of course. Here are a few tips to
maximize your coolers ice retention:
1. Using dry ice keeps things cooler and ice longer, that’s a fact.

2. When not in use, store your Mammoth cooler in a cool, dry spot. Insulation
retains cold or heat, storing in a cool area will keep ice longer, consider this
“pre-chilling” your cooler.
3. Try and keep the opening of your cooler to a minimum.
4. Fill your cooler with as much ice as possible. The less air space the colder the
cooler.
5. Use ice that’s colder than 32 degrees; the colder the ice the longer it will last.
6. For maximum coldness, use a mixture of block ice and cubed ice. Place the
block ice at the bottom of the cooler, place your contents on top of the block
ice and then fill in the space with cubed ice.
Keeps ice up to 7-10+ Days
7. Remember, just because ice melts doesn’t mean the water is warm, leave the
water in the cooler if at all possible.
8. Chill or freeze the contents before placing in cooler. Ice will last longer and
spend less energy cooling already cold items.
