An annual event held in Shanghai during the month of May,
China Beauty Expo (CBE) is the leading beauty trade show in
Asia. It has become China’s most influential trade platform
for international cosmetic companies entering the Asian
beauty market and is the key beauty and cosmetic exhibition
promoted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.
With a display area of 127,000 sqm, 6,433 international
standard booths, many international exhibitors, and three
major themes in 2014 (COSMETICS CHINA, BEAUTY SHANGHAI
and COSMETECH SHANGHAI), the 19th China Beauty Expo set
new records in 2014.

Meiyi Awards 2014

The Meiyi Awards were established by CBE Shanghai and the C2CC website.
The competition provides a platform for famous skincare, makeup and
perfume brand owners to display their products, showcasing technology,
innovation and latest trends. It is covered by a live-broadcasting channel and
featured in video clips.
The 2014 winners: L’Oréal Paris, Shiseido, Jala Group, OSM, Eternal Optical &
Perfumery.

Beauty Challenger Awards
The Beauty Challenger Awards Asia rewards the creativity and talent of
new and promising fragrance & beauty brands. Three highly coveted prizes
are awarded by a judging panel of sixty top-management members from
Asian distribution networks and representatives of the press.
The 2014 winners: Téane, for its 100% natural cosmetics for pregnant
women and babies (Natural & Organic), Majic Beauty with its ten-second
instant eye shadow (Creativity & Innovation) and Lady Green, the first
organic brand for young girls and its Fraicheur Céleste make-up remover
(Grand Prize).
Meiyi Technology Awards
in 2015
In 2015, CBE will hold a new competition for the supply chain: the
Meiyi Technology Awards. This is a platform for cosmetics suppliers to
showcase their latest innovations and new technologies. The winners
are sure to attract the attention of many companies, especially
cosmetics manufacturers and brand creators.
