You may be asking yourself, what is going
to happen on April 29th? April 29th is the
last day to check out school library books.
Please start looking for those missing library books. Check the closet, dog house,
sofa cushions, toy chest, etc. Library notices
will be sent home regarding lost or missing
books.

8th Grade
Parents
8th grade graduation photographs will
be taken on Friday, May 1st at 9:00
a.m., following the May Crowning Mass.
Each mount costs $15.00 and consists of
a 5x7 group photo and a 3 ½ x 5 individual photo side by side.
Please send payment on or before the
date that photographs are to be taken.
Payment may be made by cash or
check. Please make the check out to
Louis Hidalgo Jr.
An order form is available for the 8th graders.
Field Day
For Kindergarten - 7th grade
Time: 8:45 a.m. - 1:00 pm
(this includes lunch)

*Volunteers must be Virtus trained.

Did you know, 2nd graders are preparing for their First Communion?
Come check out the “hoppy” hallway display created by Kindergarten.
Middle school students are preparing for the BIG science fair.
4th grade is reading The Ghost of Fossil Glen during Library time.
3rd graders are participating in the state testing for the first time.

Saturday, May 2nd
The Spring Fling committee is requesting
all Mater Dei families donate a case of
soda pop and bottled water. Thank you
for your support.
A group of 4th-8th grade students competed in the 2015 SUMDay
Competition. (The contest was titled SUMday as an acronym for Students
United through Mathematics.)
5th grade is currently displaying their Sacrament of Marriage Projects
in the main hallway.
...5...4...3...2...1...BLAST OFF! The 1st grade class is studying space and
the solar system. Remember, Pluto is no longer considered a planet.
Come out to Hayden Track on Saturday afternoons to watch the mighty
MD Knights compete in track and field events.
